2379: One of the final battles in a series of conflicts between the Federation and the Romulan Empire. The USS Triton is heavily damaged, claiming the life of its First Officer.
2387: The Romulan System is destroyed by a Supernova, and the Romulan Empire collapses, with a whole species in need of a new home.
2390: The USS Triton is repaired, given back to its original captain, Vincent Richardson, and given a mission: Find a new home for the Romulans.
But as their mission begins, the crew of the Triton find that their mission is more complicated than they ever imagined...

(From the World of Azur Lane....with a bit of Inspiration from Invincible and a few characters from Orville....and Space Force) The Earth was in crisis mode, an unknown Alien Race has attacked and destroyed a far flung Research Station about 3 Light Years away. To prevent further loss of life and to fight this threat, Humanity once more turned to the KAN-SEN program, managing to scrounge up 7 active Wisdom Cubes from deep storage to fight the threat. These 7 Cubes formed 7 Space Going KAN-SEN who had a very tall order in front of them, identify the assailants, stop the attacks, and bring a lasting peace to the universe. Unbeknownst to anyone involved however, 2 of these KAN-SEN were not pleased with serving human masters.

Against his own personal feelings, he chooses to come back to help protect the Federation. Little did he expect to face his past and a new threat to the Federation within days of starting the project. Note to readers: This story was written twenty years ago. I revisited it and re-wrote it with a better eye after having published 17 books professionally since then. This is a my love letter to Star Trek that I grew up with.
