Ivy Hopkins, a sophomore, has her work cut out for her when all her parents want her to do is be successful. Now, since both of them are alcoholics and extremely bipolar, she tries her hardest in all possible categories of school. She can't work out of the house because she is always trying to control her parents and she's bullied at school because she has been wearing the same clothes for the last 3 years since the last time her parents were sober was 3 years ago. She's got glasses and is pushed around for having no friends, except for one. Willow Perries. There since 6th grade. They've spent their lives together, but Willow can just sit back and watch her bestie get abused by her parents and then back to back bullied at school. But Ivy, with an unbroken love for volleyball, will not give up; even if the varsity girls volleyball team are the people who bully her the most. But, can Sam Rivers, one of the runner backs of the the schools, fix everything for Ivy? And will something be cooking up between these two?
