A time long ago in the deepest heart of the black forest, a young prince lived, once loved but then neglected in a German castle. A young town girl by the name of Elyse grew up listening to the dark stories of her village's evil king and everlasting winter. Known as the village's beautiful jewel with a kind and forgiving soul, she has grown up watching the King's court member abuse lowly villagers like herself and seen people enter the dark castle never to return. Elyse has never captured a glimpse of King Ludwig herself. Hearing rumors that he has a devastatingly handsome face with bright yellow eyes that doesn't match his ugly soul, she become intrigued to look into his eyes hoping to find good in him. But she know as a poor villager she would never receive an opportunity. Until a grand ball is announced, demanding every one to be in attendance. Will Elyse get her chance to see King Ludwig?
