In Roosevelt, a small town in Vermont, there has been a string of murders. Each pretty much similar to the next- Lured into the woods, shot once in the body, kill shot to the head, tied to a tree in Oak Brook Park.
The Oak Brook Killer has shown no mercy, and Grace knows firsthand what it’s like to lose someone to the serial killer who has always seemed to elude the police. Her father was a victim, and she will stop at nothing to find the person who has inflicted so much pain on their small town.
However- distractions arise. Her ex-boyfriend, Jason, seems to have taken interest in her again, and she can’t help but to wonder ‘what if?’. Will Jason just add to the confusion and difficulty of her task, or will he be the one that helps her to put it all to rest?
Grace is plunged head first into the world of the Oak Brook Killer- but one things for sure. Once you go into the woods, you might not come out alive.
