I've been Deaf since I was born, not a single sound as filled my ears. But here's the catcher, I see words in color. So I can tell when you're talking, and I can't tell who you are by the color of your voice. It's called 'Synesthesia', meaning what I just explained. I'm a student at a police academy, and I'm at the top of my class. But come along on my journey, and I'll tell you a story you'll never forget.

The Test
They dragged me out to the police car. I feel weak. I had dried blood all over me and I could barely move my fingers. The two officers laid me against the car as they opened the door. They harshly flipped me over. "Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law." One of them says. Mostly everything that I heard was starting to fade and it felt like my ears were popping. "I didn't..d-do anything wro-.." I tried to say but my voice was too weak to continue the sentence. "You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish." Was the last thing I heard before I realized that I couldn't breathe.Completa

words don't come that easy.
I've tried. but i've always failed to contain these thousand words in a few sentences, maybe im bad at expressing macro feelings in the few words that I'm limited to. you might think you know me enough because it's been a long time since i first waved at you and the love for the same artist started our very first conversation, but even i haven't discovered the colors of my existence yet, so why do you claim that you have? you think you've already uncovered the secrets and seen the scars and the marks and reached the origin of every preserved artifact in the treasures that i've kept hidden over the years but there's so much more that you would never even hear of. i've chosen to show you everything as a part of a happy story but will you ever know this? which words were rewritten and omitted out and which words are the part of the organic script which fits perfectly into the timeline. have you figured out yet who's the real director of my story? there's so much more to me than you think there is. poetry and prose and everything in between. 26.10.2021 - 01.06.2022Completa

My Kidnapper Likes Me
I was walking to work one morning when a bag gets thrown over my head and I'm jerked back by two arms encircling my waist. My parents always told me this could happen as my father is the judge and put a high profile murderer behind bars. He set the bail at 1.2 million dollars and I honestly don't know why my father is still alive. I was in the courtroom but the little girl who was sitting next to me- maybe thirteen, so not really little- said there's no way he did it. Kids are a pretty good judge of character but I had to agree that some things looked off when the evidence was shown. The next thing I know the bag is pulled up some and a rag is put over my mouth and nose. I cringe inwardly at how cliché it is but hey chloroform does the trick and I'm out before we started moving.Completa
For Your Love
*Previously named: I'm Not A Saint* ----- "Do you honestly not get it yet?" A small part of me questioning out of pure amazement, but mostly out of built-up anger. There's a slight pause before he responds, " That you're blind? Well no shit. I just wanted to know what the papers were." So calmly that it causes a shiver up my spine. Despite my whole body telling me not to, I turn in his direction. His words seem to repeat in my head. Any composure that I had-gone- replaced with an overwhelming amount of insecurity. The moment he said those words, I thought he could be the somebody. The somebody that wasn't like the rest of the students here. But instead a small gasp leaves his lips and he doesn't say anything anymore. I close my eyes and face the front of the class again. "No shit, right?" I mutter under my breath. My eyes will always be a clear give away to the fact that I'm blind. From my memory of before, when everything had color, they were a deep brown. After the accident however, most of the color left and a dullness entered, according to my mom. She claims they still have the appearance of normal eyes, just slightly discolored hazel ones. I will never be able to decide that for myself. ------Completa
