The squeezing around my throat started again and I could feel hot tears burning tracks down my face as I struggled to breathe.
Benjamin's attacker laughed cruelly, softly, in his ear. "You're going to die," he growled. And then pain so intense in my leg I screamed and everything went black.

It's been just over two months since Christine Thompson moved with her mother to Day Lightens, Montana and things are finally starting to look up for her.
She's making friends, finally beginning to fit in at school, and aside from completely hating her new boyfriend's guts everything is going great. That is, until she has yet another episode; an out of body experience with Benjamin, the 6 year old who turned her into the light-o-phobic night walker she is now. He's scared and in desperate need of a savior. Christine.
But, she can't save him alone. Christine will need the help of her new pack of paranormal friends, including her insufferable teacher, Gabriel Steele. But can she save Benjamin in time? Or will this dangerous game of hide and seek lead to a disastrous end?
