All of a sudden, I was picked up and I started to flail around. Until I realized that I saw a familiar face.
"Jake?" I probably sounded more confused than happy, but oh well, he's a big boy.
"Shh, they'll hear you." That got me to shut up pretty quickly.

Alex was lost. Not in a figurative way, though. He was literally lost in a forest, with no idea how he got there. Last thing he remembered, Jack had been at the hospital after literally every trace of any human activity there seemed to be erased.
