Qrow is dead. It is up to Winter to bring this heartbreaking news to those fighting Salem and WTCH, and to his family. Consumed by grief but determined to finish what Qrow begun, Winter sets out to replace him as a protector of the Maidens. Little does she know that she may be over her head, as dangerous obstacles begin to take form.

Qrow is not dead. He is trying to distance himself from the one he loves for the greater good, even if it does break his heart beyond belief. Currently, he is on a mission to find Salem's hideout, which is proving as easy as it sounds. Along the way, Qrow meets some new faces, along with some unwelcome old ones.

Memories from times long past collide with recollections to be, and two hearts, both broken in two, may find a way to repair each other.
