Its funny how one summer can change everything it must be something about the scorching golden sun, the smell of the freshly cut grass and honeysuckle ...the ground left sizzling after early evening thunderstorms, the steam rising up into the midnight blue and pink sky while everything drips around it. Something about long lazy days and bright pink plastic flip flops tracking down the street, something about fall being so close, another year, another Christmas, a new beginning. So much in one summer stirring up like the storms that crest the end of each day...everyone can reach back to that one summer and lay a finger on that exact moment when everything changed ...that summer ...was mine.
