"There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds." - Laurell K Hamilton . . . . What really happened on the night of the fourth of June is unknown to the world. Whatever happened, ruined Jace Jackson's life forever. Nobody spoke to Jace Jackson after that night. It was an unspoken agreement among students in St. Hall High School. Jace Jackson had become a disease overnight, a disease no one wanted to catch. Jace Jackson was inevitably accused of a crime everybody believed he committed. People believed he was possessed by the devil himself. People believed he had gone psycho in the head. People wanted him out and away from them. If not for his extremely wealthy parents, Jace Jackson would have been rotting in a mental institute. Now, Jace suffers a fate worse. Ignorance. Isolation. Depression. Bullying. With Teachers turning a blind eye to his sufferings and his parents being as good as non-existent, Jace had begun evolving into a monster. But Yvette Evans intended to change that, for she believed, the devil was created by humanity, and that underneath all of that mess was a boy, who could be brought to justice, and be saved along the way.

TRIGGER WARNING! Read the first story, "His Name Is Lucifer," or don't, it doesn't matter. This story Break My Heart can be read as a stand-alone. I didn't want to come off as ungrateful, though according to Mom, that was what I was an ungrateful brat. Part of me wondered if Mom hurt Dad or Ryan the way she hurt me. If I was being honest, Mom fucked me up. She made me what I am. *** This is a novella, not a novel!
