It's been six months.

The explosion was heard all around the world. She was presumed dead. No one could survive that but Steve hasn't given up hope. He has insisted that since there was no body she couldn't be dead. Coulson, Barton, and Romanoff have told him time and again that there wouldn't have been a body. She would've been blown to bits. 

They searched for miles along the blast zone trying to find something. Anything. There was nothing but smoke and ash.

Thor went back to Asgard, Bruce went back underground, and Stark continued his work. Romanoff and Barton went on missions and Coulson kept himself busy. It seemed that everyone had forgotten and that's what upset Steve. There was no way she was gone. He would feel it wouldn't he?


After storming out on a conversation with Natasha, Steve finds himself lost on the streets of New York. After a couple of wrong turns he ends up where he needs to be. He was right. She's not gone, but she's not the same either.

This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results. Once the tesseract dies down, the energy levels become stable quickly along with the tesseract itself. But there is something left behind from the outburst. A person to be more exact. As everyone gets a better look at the figure, they notice the dirty, ripped dark red peacoat with some buttons torn off, smudge-y black leggings, long dirty blonde hair, brown leather combat boots, and finally what she has in her hands that are hanging at her sides.
