Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < . ~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again.
