The choices we make can either make us or break us. When Wynter is left heartbroken by the only guy she has ever loved, she tries to convince herself to not let it affect her life. But then fate plays its games, like it loves to do, and Wynter's life takes a downward spiral. With things turning against her, and no one there to hold her hand through it, she makes choices that further ruin anything intact. The moment she hits rock bottom, is the time when her past comes tumbling back into her life, trying to fix her and everything around her. But when someone has once broken your trust, how could you learn to accept them again? And more importantly, what do you do when you realize you never stopped loving them? Not even after the three long years you stayed apart. What should she do when she realizes that for her, it was and always will be him, her Wyatt.

"So are we ever going to trust each other?" "Of course we will." He says while also leaning forward showcasing his smile and pearly whites. "So confident Mr Reed." "Of course Miss James. I've read enough books. Watched enough movies to know that the unexpected always becomes the inevitable. In this case myself and you." I lean back and take a swig of water then finally respond, "We'll see if that's true or not." April James had everything any woman could ever want in her life. She had her happily ever after. However, all it took was one ounce of greed to take everything away... After 4 years of working in the same place the memories start to get harder to bear. April's worked too hard to not let anyone take this away from her, even her tormenting memories. How is she surviving? No distractions. Until one day she stumbles across a drunk Alexander Reed. This man is undeniably attractive and also one of the worlds most famous and eligible billionaires. After April helps this mystery guy he can't help but become intrigued about April and why she's so closed off. He's always been used to getting what he wants but he realises it's not an easy game with this woman. Alex goes against his own rules and want to pursue a friendship with April even if she resists. Can she get over the fact that people like Alexander Reed are the ones that caused her so much pain? Maybe they can heal each others wounds? Maybe they aren't as different as they think they are.
