Salvation

This is a 'The Walking Dead' fanfiction.

~ Many years ago officer Shane Walsh was sent to answer a noise complaint. When he arrived at the scene he found a young women being tormented by her vile step father, Ed. But that was all before. The world is different now. The dead have risen and begun to walk the earth amongst the living. Shane now lives at a camp full of survivors depending on him to stay alive. Feelings arise for the strong woman he once saved. Will he tell her or will he crack under the pressure of being in charge?~

This story takes place in Emily Peliters point of view.

(In correspondence to the show the characters are at the quarry before Rick found the camp.)
