"I don't know if I'm going to be ok," she whispered, her head touching his. His breathing hitched and he struggled to hold back his tears as he looked into her eyes. They were swimming with terror and fear. He wanted to take it all away from her. "You're going to be ok," was all he could manage to choke out. ---- Ventura wanted to finish her last year of high school with a bang. What she didn't expect was some madman running around a wrecking havoc on her, her ex, and her ex's new girlfriend. Enter Axle, the aura of one of those cliché bad boys, who seems to know a little too much. With his help, Ventura is tasked with restoring balance to something that has been broken for a millennium.
