- November 2007 -

I looked up at Dan with tears in my eyes, "I'll miss you Daniel."
"I'll really miss you (Y/N), have a nice life."
We suddenly embraced each other in a tight hug, I always had feelings for Dan but never got to confess them, and now it was too late, he was leaving..

I watched as Dan got up and departed from our hug, giving a last wave and turning around and walked to the car, I waved to his parents while the tears streamed down my face.
I silently sat there on the curb as Dan was driven away in a car.
I remember crying myself to sleep that night.
But just 10 years on, when I was 22 something remarkable happened.
