The remarks of pack members and long destroyed enemies rang threw my head. The came the hurtful words of those who were once close to me.
"I hate you, Lyric!"
"Your just a pup, and a sad little girl"
"Your not my Sister."
While I could remember the phrases with as much emotion as they were spewed, the last one had none. That was because there was no emotion to remember. The words stung more than the ones that did. "Your not my Sister" were the words that threw me over the edge. And let me tell you, if you thought the fall was hard, then I don't think you've experienced the landing.
