Bo Adams was murdered. It was a cold December night when it happened, but, really, that was the extent of her knowledge. The truth was that she had no idea who did it or what they did to her, but until she could figure it out, her ghost was tied to the Earth.
After a new family moved into Bo's old house, Bo knew it was the perfect opportunity to figure out how she died - all she had to do was convince the girl staying in her old room to help her.
When Imogen moved to another city, the only thing she was truly excited about was the opportunity to start over. She anticipated the chance to surround herself with new people, new scenery, and much less drama. That is, until she got into a heated argument with her mother just days after arriving to her new house and stormed into her room - only to find that she wasn't the only one occupying it.
Imogen quickly found out that the city of Ashenfort was hidden with many dark secrets; everyone had demons of their own lurking around each corner, and she couldn't trust anyone.
Will Imogen be able to figure out who murdered Bo before the killer figures out what she's up to? Or is it all too much for her to handle?

Wanting to go home, things are not as easy going as she hoped, and now, she has her families blood on her hands. Lost and no longer sure what to do, Evelynn runs, to where she doesn't know to which she finds a school that was created to help those like 'her' and then she meets the woman who she knows by her scent alone, but what's odd is that despite never meeting in her life, the woman recongizes her as someone dear to her. Though, Evelynn's biggest concern was, who did this to her and why? "Guys, I got another note," I say as I sit down at lunch. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat. "I don't think it is Sebastien, he loves attention and this doesn't scream attention," Vanessa says as my eyes land on him. But my eyes move from Sebastien quickly to the hottest man in Waterstone, Vincent. He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects. "Okay, so if not Sebastien then who?" I voice my thoughts out loud. "Maybe you have a secret admirer," Xander says in all seriousness and I burst out laughing. No one understood why anyone would want to kill the little family, who's been through hell and back after the father walked out on them. He took all the money forcing them to move into the tiny home. Even then, they were still positive about things until... The terrifying day took place. No one has ever moved into the house since then, considering all the rumors going around about the son haunting the cottage. His first sighting being a few months after the murder and since then there's been many reports of his shadowy figure in the windows. Teenagers often explored the place but as soon as they were out of the house, they never went back inside. - Zach Herron, aged 17, now ready to move into a house of his own. After being under his parents watchful eye for years, he's ready to finally walk on his own two feet. He could've moved out at 16, legal age in England, but decided against it but now he was prepared. The cottage seemed like a fitting place for him to stay, he's seen the reviews about it being 'haunted' but paid no mind to it.
