“Emma- I’m so sorry,” Adam said sincerely, “I wish I could take it all back. What can I do to make it up to you? I will do anything, honestly.”
Emma scoffed, “You dirty liar, just stay away from me-”
“If that’s what you want I’ll do that-“
“I wasn’t finished,” she hissed, “and stay away from Jess.”
Adam’s face looked so indescribable, “B-but Emma-“
“Oh I know what you did, you can’t have her though. She’s the only family I have left and I refuse to give her up to the likes of you. Now excuse us, we have some things to do.” Emma slammed the door and skipped to the kitchen as if nothing ever happened.
