"Shit!" I muttered under my breath. He pulled open the door and headed for me with a smile that made my skin crawl. I withdrew my gun from my bag and hid it under the table. "Ah Blake Reid. At last we meet!" He pulled out the chair directly across from me. "Who are you and why have you been following me?" I growled. "I'm the man who is going to kill you," he gave me a masochistic smile. I withdrew my gun from its place under the table. It was pointed between his eyes and I took pleasure in the shock that was on his face. He had only gotten his gun halfway out. The staff was still unaware of me holding a gun to this man's head because they were all around back in the kitchen. "Sorry, but that's just not going to happen," I said sweetly. "In such a public place? How brazen of you," he challenged in a shaky voice. "Yes, all the staff is in the back where they can't see us. Oh and if you didn't notice, there's a silencer on my gun. Say good-bye my dearie," I pulled the trigger and sent the bullet through his head. Blake Reid isn't your normal 17 year old. She's an assassin on her last case... or so she hopes. She is having difficulty with memories of her past and can't seem to get out of her shell, even though that is one of the biggest assets needed for her assignment. He says planting a kiss on my stomach, going lower each time. I run my free hand through the back of his hair, gently pulling his head back slightly, forcing him to look back up at me. He had a dangerously evil smile on. I knew my cheeks were going red, I pushed him away and rushed towards the the door. "You always do this." I mumble quietly, trying to catch my breath which I lost in the heat of the moment. "Would you be lying to me if you said you didn't like it?" He replied, walking over to me. I threatened because I knew what he wanted to tell me and I didn't want to hear it. I never wanted to hear it. "Panda-corns? Seriously Luce" he laughed. I just shrugged and turned to walk away. The chocolate cake I knew was in the fridge was calling to me and I intended on answering its calls. My mouth watering at the thought. But before I managed to move two steps away, an arm grabbed my shoulder and I shuddered from the sparks that erupted through my body. "Luce. I'm your..."Jax began. Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped.
