The room was dark. You could see the faint outlines that could pass as something but it was not clear. I slowly make my way across the room to the ringing phone. 

"Hello?" I ask the receiver. 

"I'm sorry to inform you miss, but your parents have died." I just stand there. Not able to move, speak or even function. They were gone.... How? 

"How?" my voice was quiet, barely audible to the other line. 

"Murder."
