Still breathing

- I push the twigs away from my face and keep running, my breathing hitches and I stumble, hitting something hard, but that's the least of my worries. I scratch at the leaves, pushing myself forwards and away from the creature behind me. I roll onto my back and look into the face of the open mouthed beast that reaches out to grab me with its claws.
I can't escape this... I'm going to die.-
