What if they wanted to live a normal life without the unique vision of seeing what the average citizen cannot? What if they cared not to be dragged into a life involving inhumane beings, and just studied for a job they yearned for, for the rest of their life? Unfortunately, wants cannot always be haves, for this young student at Kamome Gakuen cannot escape the life of a person with seeing eyes. It all started with a school mystery, his assistant, an exorcist, and somebody who wanted nothing to do with the apparition life in the first place. A shame none of them could get what they want. The Path of the Adventurer
Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! This book was not made from another book as I have always dreamt of writing this story (Literally). Thank you for understanding. It also contains extreme violence involving murder and deaths on gruesome scales, children and adults will be involved. So if you cannot handle it, don't read it. A boy who has always had an overactive imagination who always wanted to fly and touch the skies, reach the heavens, be in space, jump from planet to planet. He has always dreamed of doing those things and even had dreams of it but wakes up every day living an ordinary life, always wishing for something extraordinary to happen. One faithful day that wish came true but not as he wanted it to happen as fate was not so kind to him on that. He was attacked and nearly killed until two other kids like him saved him from that life threatening situation and at that moment his life would change forever. Now he is on a journey in search of his lost "Powers" but he has to go through a lot of fun but dangerous journey is on the way in order to retrieve something he always thought he had but thought it was just a dream. His life is not going to be an ordinary one after this.
