Hello, I'm Zaylee, and considering that this story is not about me but about my best friend I'm not so important. Xavier was my best friend. I did something that I can never forgive myself for and frankly what happened after will stay with me until I die. I think that it's now time that I tell what happened in my small town that is literally known for nothing but the 'incident'. The 'incident' happened because I left, my best friend went into depression and then let a demon take over his heart and soul. I will say this now before I start, whatever happens in this story even if it is all just a dream it felt real, I'm not sure if it actually did happen but I will tell it like it happened and you can decide for yourselves if it was real or just a figment of my messed up imagination.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable.
