Prisoners are usually the ones who suffers the most. The ones who shouldn't be locked up in a place that are as comfortable as a huge room with a king size bed in it.
Rather they are usually locked up in cages with chains that have filthy cold floors that you couldn't comfortably sleep in.
But Mabel perhaps was a special one.

After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs.
