On the mysterious island of Kalolimnos, though the myth is thousands of years old, the natives still believe their island is inhabited by an evil siren and if she is not pleased with the number of ships she has brought down, she will come after them. Landon knight, a high school student, has never heard of this girl until he has to do a report on her. But when his girlfriend finds out she may die soon, a charity pays for them to go to the island where he has a chance to study her in a more "in depth" way.
