In a post apocalyptic world, family is the one you create yourself and you become one of the 'Survivors'. You can take out a Walker with ease, you can take out those against you... except one.
A new group arrives and with them, a leader who is laden with charm & good looks. He is menacing, choosing who should "go up to bat". Someone in your beloved, established family is about to die, but there's one thing neither he nor you expect to happen...
Just like Romeo & Juliet, you're from different "Houses" & "Families", you both have a different view on how to live in a post-apocalyptic world... So what happens when complete opposites attract?

I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me.
