Snow On The Road

68 parts Complete Mature

Emerson Augustine is an aimless university student who followed her best friend to Ohio State. She is unsure of her major, her relationship, and her future. But mostly if her life is worth anything at all, including the hope you have to have to make things better. Tyler Joseph is a small musician, working on a new album and trying to make music into a career, since he dropped out of college. Though his band is gaining some local popularity, he's still working through the local music circuits and trying to carve out a path for him and his band. When his friend Emerson shows up on his doorstep, injured and terrified, he does what he knows he has to do, help. The friendship the two hold gets tested but also deepens in ways the two could never image as the pitfalls of friendship, love, and one's past collide, changing everything for the two anxious kids and their friends. (Early Twenty One Pilots, about 2011 and 2012) TW: Abuse (verbal, psychological, and physical), self harm, mentions of sexual assault, mentions of overdose, and suicidal thoughts and behaviours. Mental health issues and disorders such as OCD, depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia.
