Holly Fredricks and Gavin Edward were the mega couple of Malibu High School. That was until they both died instantly in a car accident when Gavin wrapped his Ford Mustang around a tree. Completely devastated, their closest friends have to learn to cope with the way things are now. Because of the accident, new friendships are formed when two completely different high school clics collide. Both of the clics have only two things in common, they go to Malibu High School and they knew either Gavin or Holly. Gavin's closest friends and Holly's friends both tackle the loss of their friends head on as one. Dahlia Regan, one of Holly's best friend before the accident, stopped believing in love when her parents divorced 3 years in the past and her mom moved across the country leaving her and her father behind. But when Gavin's friend Jack comes into the picture, will Dahlia discard her false beliefs on love and open up or will she continue believing that love doesn't really exist?
