✓ | The Crown of the Dead
Almost thirty years have passed since the second Titan War. At least, that's what everyone keeps telling Bianca. She doesn't quite understand what the second Titan War is- or was, for that matter- or why it's important. Bianca doesn't understand a lot of things. For example: why she is just now realizing that her parents were demigods- children of the Greek gods themselves- and she's what people at camp call a "legacy." She also doesn't understand why her Aunt Piper practically tossed her into a car with two men she's never met and shipped her off to this aforementioned camp. A magic camp for descendants of the gods. Camp Half Blood. Bianca doesn't understand why everyone at Camp Half Blood seems to whisper under their breaths whenever she passes by. She doesn't understand the class system or the sub divisions of legacies, or how magic works, or how to fight monsters. She doesn't understand why all of these people who were painted as best friends have grown so distant. But the biggest thing she doesn't understand? Definitely her existence. What If Three Days Meant Forever?
Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate?
