Rose Capps is a 17 year old junior in highschool. Growing up in a small town where everyone knows your name and how you grew up, Rose had become used to the same old routine. Nothing ever happens, and Rose wants things to change. Her life changes when she meets a boy in her English class, Thane MontView. The one person who she can't stand. Thane's too preppy, too optimistic...and too dramatic to hang around someone as broken and dull as her. Thane and Rose begin reading the classic Love story, Romeo and Juliet.
Surprisingly interested by the tragic tale, Rose is convinced there is a deeper meaning to the connection of the young lovers, and Thane feels the same way.
But what happens when Rose and Thane share their interests...and try comparing their lives to those in the book.
What if this story is more than a play write? What if...it's a prophecy?
