"Out of Reach" is a Horrific, Action and Romance filled book about A young Man, and Woman who are stuck in the middle of an apocalypse, forced to fight every day just to survive. These two survivors, Annie and Garret, must work together to survive. In the beginning, they are alone, and after having found out all their friends were killed, they have to move on and find a safer location. On the run from raiders, they meet a seven year old boy, Taylor, who has been infected and Annie fears for his life. She then decides to take him under her wing, and raise him for her own. Garret discovers that he has feelings for Annie, and feels the need to express it. After having tried to do so, something goes wrong. Annie and Taylor have been separated from Garret. Determined to find a cure for Taylor, Annie searches for more survivors to help with her newfound mission. Meanwhile, Garret is trying to locate Annie. When he does, he discovers she's fallen for someone else. In a jealous rage, he runs off again, only to come back once more to find a depressed Annie. What happened? Where is Taylor? Who Did Annie meet? and What did Garret return to? Find out in "Out of Reach."

High school student Anthony Scalese was having a normal day when his friends decided that they wanted to attend a party. After what seems like days, they make it out of the cave alive, only to find out that they have ended up in a new world: a world where nothing makes sense. There are giants and leprechauns and shapeshifters...but there is also a great darkness that is out to destroy everyone-and everything-that it sees. Young Anthony finds out that it is up to him and Emma to save this new world with great powers that he had no idea he had, and make it home before anybody suspects a thing. Told from a first-person point-of-view, it goes into detail about the thought processes of a young man who has everything to lose. The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Concluida
