The Bad Boy
"Should I tell you something, Seryna?" He leaned closer to me, holding my chin, and my heart was beating faster than ever, "I hate you." I facepalmed. "Did you seriously thought that my heart will be broken if you'll say that to me?" He leaned even closer to me, our noses touching each other "Yeah, you could say that." He slightly laughed. "Just kidding. I don't hate you. How could I???" My heart skipped a beat."S-So?" I hesitated for a moment. "So? Come with me, I'll tell you a secret..." I followed him. He suddenly hugged me, "I love you."

    The Best Friend
"Don't come near me. You're so distractive." I easily got pissed at my best friend while studying, I loved studying (not really) and he's just too handsome to stare at me like that! "Don't you mean 'attractive'?" He smirked and I blushed, my heart was beating faster and my ears were red. W-What? "S-Shut up!" He hugged me and whispered, "My hug is also effective, correct?"

    The Crush
"C-Cerim-senpai!" I called out to him. He looked at me and smiled, "What is it, Seryna?" Oh my dear heart... it's screaming... saying... doki-doki. "C-Can I walk with you?!" I shouted, making the other students look at us. "Of course. Come, Seryna." He held my hands and started running towards a cafe near our school, goodness. When he said "Seryna" my whole world has already been taken. He's my all time crush... so it's okay, right? "So? Shall we?" He stared at me, and I blushed so hard. "Oh Cerim... Why do you make my heart go wild?" I mumbled lowly so no one could hear.

  The Rival
"Idiot, you just can't beat me." He glared down at me and started walking away from the gym. "Well, at least I can play soccer!!!" He looked back at me and glared down. Suddenly, a ball hit my head and I felt dizzy, I was unable to control my balance. He ran and caught me, while I was already unconscious. "... Stupid idiot."

But my brother won't let me...

BOOK #1 in The Fire series TRIGGER WARNING IN SOME CHAPTERS He leans closer, keeping me pinned against the wall with his hands on either side of my head. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. I wasn't scared of him. I didn't hide my face or get nervous... I just bit my lip harder, trying to hold it in. It would just make things worse for me, I bet. He kept his eyes on mine as I glanced at his friend behind him with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. I looked back at the man in front of me. "You shouldn't act that way around me." He says coldly. "I can have you dead right-" I couldn't hold it in. I started laughing. He leans back, shocked, but his face goes into a glare as soon as his friend behind him perks up, watching, interested now. I calm down a little. "I'm sorry." I say, catching my breath. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.

"You just have no idea." His voice was thick with restraint. "W-what," I breathed. His gaze flicked to my lips as his thumb stroked again. The calloused pad against my soft flesh sent goosebumps down my arms. His once warm eyes were dark as they lifted and bared into my soul. "What you do to... men." His husky whisper weakened my knees. I almost fell but his other hand settled on my hip, pulling me closer to him. "What you do to me," he added on a breath. The hand on my jaw shifted. His fingers left trails of tingles as he slipped them back slowly, under my earlobe and into my curls. *************************************************** As a young girl, Charlotte Avery's favourite pass time was daydreaming about her Prince Charming: Archer Johnson. I clear my throat and pop my head into view with the most friendly smile I could muster. "Hi," I say softly, stepping closer. "Um, I'm Cammie." To my relief, she smiles back. "Hi," she says simply. She was... a little drunk, and by the redness in her eyes, probably high. She smelled of beer and weed and as she turned to the shower to pull the curtain back, I noticed the tramp stamp on her lower back that read "This was a dare." "A real tease, isn't she?" I recognized that voice. It made my skin crawl and sweat break out over my entire body. My body turns and my blood runs cold when the gray eyes from downstairs meet mine. What are the odds that my roommate brought this sleaze-bag home? "Uh..." is the only word that is able to exit my mouth. He chuckles and leans back into the couch behind him, his eyes not leaving mine. A pair of dimples so large you could fill them with water and call them kiddie pools. "I-I guess you can't choose your roommate when you apply so late," I say with a nervous laugh before my hand comes up to hold my own arm in an attempt to comfort myself out of this awkward moment. His eyebrows raise until they disappear under his floppy bangs. "Yeah, I guess that's true. Hopefully you don't mind me bringing girls around here often." I thickly swallow as his words make their way through my brain, and I take a small step back until I feel the bathroom door against my back. "What?" I blurt out. He smirks and takes a few steps closer to me, his hands slowly, slowly coming to rest on the door on either side of my shoulders, about six inches between our faces. He smelled better than she did, that was for sure. His scent alone could have made me blush. "Cause you can't choose your roommates, and I ain't going anywhere, roomie."

By sensing my presence, he sits up and faces me while that girl covers herself with sheets, and he asks with a smirk, "You want to join? We can do a threesome," looking up and down. I was frozen in my spot; he made his way slowly towards me, and I watched each of his moves carefully. He is so handsome. Blue eyes, they are so beautiful. Shaking the thought, I open my mouth, but no words come out. I shake my head as if to say no, and then I clear my throat and whisper, "N-No." He smirks, "Are you sure we can have double fun, kitten?" I shake my head with shock and mumble, "Y-Yes......." "Then why are you here, to watch me?" he asked rudely. "N-No...A-Actually I'm l-looking for a w-washroom." I stutter in fear and slowly take a step back. "Oh..." With sadness, he closes his eyes and exhales sharply. "Exiting the room and walking straight, it's on the right side." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I'm Kataline Layla River. My loved ones call me Kat. "I wanted to talk to you," he said simply. "We had an argument about why he doesn't want us talking." I was confused. "What are his reasons anyway? It seems kinda stupid to keep us from talking." "Agreed," Nathaniel said. "The first reason was that I like you... a lot. And two, he said that it was the fact you like me and that he didn't want your heart to get broken." I was so happy that it was dark outside. "Aren't you with Veronica?" He sighed. "She broke up with me when she saw us together behind the Math & Science building. Ronnie knew how I felt about you but she couldn't just accept the fact that I like you instead of her. To be honest, we never were really dating. She just said that we were." My cheeks burned. "You have a crush on me? The star basketball player of Merrytime High School has a fucking crush on me?!" I squealed. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Your brother. Every time I've tried to tell you, your brother wouldn't let me," he replied sourly. Then he smiled coyly. "But he isn't in the way now, is he?" And his rough hands cupped my face and put his lips on mine. We went slow at first but we soon picked up the pace. My hands were up in his hair as he placed me onto the ground. But then for one pain inducing second, we stopped and he pulled away. His face was only inches from mine. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked busily as he put his hands in my sweater, his hands sending vibrations through my entire body. I wanted him. "Yes," was all I said before we locked lips once more. I was secretly hoping nothing could separate us again. BEST RANKING--> 112 IN #brothersbestfriend

Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's.
