Troy never really believed in love. He thinks a perfect family is a fantasy created by dreamers and a that love is a myth.
No one really knows how it started and where it even came from. Maybe from the "greek gods" created by lonely people looking for a companion in life.
He was once like them. He believed his lonely life would be completed by someone. He fancied the day he would met someone who would bring color to his dull life. Someone who would show him there's more to life than what he knows.
Nathan was the person who showed his what it looks like and how it felt. He was engrossed with it, finally loving the life he had but then, he was deceived? Or was he just blindly fantasizing what he wanted and completely ignored the signs.
Still, angered by betrayal, he hated him. He hated him because he loved him. The person who made him feel excited, sad, happy, anxious, and hopeful turned out to be a big fat liar.
He built a strong wall to save himself from liars. Liars who lure people in delusion making them do crazy things for love, like he did. He trained to be firm just so never would give in and he did. He succeeded and has been living the best of his life, loveless free.
But, destiny was at it again. A sexy drunkin' night proved him wrong.
