High School is finally over for best friends Jo and Maria. The summer stretches out before them and the rest of their lives is on the horizon. Maria leaves for France, her destiny awaiting her in La Roche, a medieval village nestled on a hill top. She is enchanted by rural life and bewitched by Christophe, a charismatic bohemian with mystery and magic running through his veins. Meanwhile Jo moves to London with her indie band Gnu but her new life doesn't deliver the freedom she craves.
