I'm going to tell you a story; you might not believe me but it is true. It's about mirrors, worlds within worlds, a man made of obsidian, animals that talk and an angel possessed by greed. I will tell you this story, not to entertain you, but to warn you of the dangers of not knowing your world. This story starts with a girl, a girl named Clarrisan Winter, whose father left her and whose mother died of cancer, who's never known the loving arms of a family, nor the experience of a home; a girl who saved three worlds at once, but became a legend in only one.
I am that girl.

Some people say, that the planet birthed death because of the deadly war. However, something else was birthed, an heir. Her name was Milia. She possessed true power and ultimately ended the war. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever. "Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me.
