The jury came back out in only ten short minutes.
The judge spoke once the crowd silenced. "Members of the jury, have you reached a verdict?"
The jury spokesman stood and said: "No, your Honor, we cannot."
Loud conversation burst out within the room. The judge had to bang his gavel several times before there was peace again. "Order, order in my courtroom." He said in a stern voice.

The victim wouldn't have struggled if the door wasn't locked in the first place. A voice yelled, "Help!" It came from behind the door. Marcus turned around to see if anyone had followed him upstairs, but then he saw no one except a painting on the wall. "Leonardo!" the voice yelled again. "Stop playing games with me. Get me the fuck out of here! Right fucking now!" "Gianna?" Marcus yelled back. "Is that you?" There was no response for a moment. He was assuming that the woman was assessing the situation. "Gianna?" Marcus yelled again. "Hey, it's me! I'm getting you outta here!" "Marcus! How did you get in here?" "Don't worry about it!" He punched the door knob like a clueless idiot, testing if it would break that easily. But he guessed not. All he got in the process was a half-broken knuckle. "Stay away from the door!" he yelled at the woman. "What?!" she replied. Marcus decided to take a few steps away from the door, positioned his shoulders at the right angle, and inhaled a small amount of air for his chest to relax. He allowed his mind to grab the momentum. Afterwards he called it a start and rushed toward the door, like an angry bull upon seeing a red flag.Complete

"I didn't kill him." I repeated the same line over and over again. He wasn't dead. I knew it. I know that he's alive. "I didn't kill him." He had to be out there, but it didn't matter now. Grasping Freedom
My nerves were starting to resurface again as I stared at the twelve people who would seal my fate. The woman on the last row on the left corner stood up. She cleared her throat and looked me straight in the eye. It was easy to tell that there was disgust on the woman's face. "What has the Jury decided?" The Judge asked. He was sitting behind the bench. His gaze flickering between the jury and me. He had a hard face. His eyes were a dark brown with flecks of a lighter brown. His hair was a dirty blond colour with gray hair on the sides. He had a crooked nose like he had broken it in the past He waited patiently as the woman had one last talk with the rest of the Jury. I looked back behind me. My mother was crying and my father holding her. My brothers face was set in a grimace with a bit of anger and sadness. My twin brother and I were always close so I was able to read him fairly easily. He turned to me and shot me a weak smile. I returned it with my own sad smile. My younger brother and sister weren't here and I was glad for that. I didn't what them to see me like this. I turned to face my lawyer. He was a good looking man with crystal blue eyes and raven black hair. He had a straight nose that suited him well and a strong jaw line. He was also wearing a suit of course. He looked at me sympathetically and turned back to the Jury. He was thinking the same as me, which isn't very good for me. This is only apart of the Prologue so if you like it please read it ^_^Complete
