"What would you do?" Daisy raised a brow and an amused smile quirked up with it. "You want me to make the choice for you? Given my track record, are you sure that's a good idea?" "Your track record is the perfect reason. You've been with your share. You have a better idea than I do as to this choice," she wiped the back of her hand under her eyes once more. "Do I choose the boy who broke my heart more than once. Or do I choose the man who has watched over me all these years?" "You already know your choice, Jazzy." Her friend's brow furrowed. "You called one a boy and attached it to a horrible moment in your life. The other you called a man and called him your protector. Now, if I were a third-party stranger and I heard you refer to each of them in the same manner, I would slap you silly and ask how there could even be a choice. So, answer me this. Jasmine has spent twenty-four years in the same do-nothing town. Friday nights had been spent at the high school football games, farming season meant slow traffic twice a year and driving twenty minutes to the nearest town for something better to do. When her old high school flame strolls in to Dave's Diner asking for her to hear him out, she gets sucked back down a rabbit hole of memories; good and bad. This is a short story I wrote in my psychology of crime victims class. We had to write the beginning of a story and then we were assigned a crime and then we had to finish it based on our crime. I thought my story was fun and wanted to share it. The writing might not be very good. I'm a psych major. Emma goes to college and doesn't get the experience she thought that she would get. What happens when she goes to a party one night with her best friend Sarah? How will it effect her life?

This is a story written in diary form down to the detail. It's about a "perfect year" more detailed, what MY perfect year and hopefully close enough to my friends perfect years. Almost all the characters are based off real people I changed the names. There's drama, love, betrayal, and best of all friendship and the trust that goes into being a good, even a great/best friend.

A fun night on the beach turns sour quickly for a group of friends when one mistake leads to another and results in murder. Kasey and her friends are torn apart by the experience but soon they will all be in touch again as that night comes back to haunt them... literally. One by one they will meet their retribution in a haunting tale of guilt and revenge.
