"Turn me, please." I begged the vampire in front of me, trying to ignore the burning pain running through every cell of my body.

"Look at me, keep your eyes open and on me." The dark haired vamp said, using their hand to turn my face to look at theirs, our eyes locking. "I can't undo this. You know that right? It wasn't supposed to be you, not you." The voice almost sounded like it was crying, my vision was too obscured to tell.

"Yes I know, I just- I don't wanna die. Not yet." I cried out, whimpering when each word shot more pain through my dying body.

"I'll do it! Okay I'll do it." That time the voice wasn't talking to me, more shouting to someone else. I bet I know who.

"Please... Turn me.... Katherine."

And with that, my human life was over.

Top 3 out of 1.37K stories in Klaroline It happened in an instant. A moment so small, so impossibly human, that no one should have noticed. But the universe did. Far beneath the streets of New Orleans, buried in a temple that had long since been forgotten, something ancient stirred. The walls of the chamber, carved with prophecies older than the first breath of man, began to bleed. The words-unchanged for thousands of years-twisted, rearranging themselves as if reality itself was trying to rewrite its own rules. "She was never meant to exist this way." The witches saw it happen. Felt the shift in the air, the way the very fabric of existence flinched. One of them-a seer, her hands trembling-fell to her knees as a vision consumed her. She saw the moment it began. A grand ball. A girl in silver. A monster in love. A kiss that should have never happened. And then, the stars moved. Not a gentle shift. Not the slow, silent turning of the heavens. They fractured. A pattern that had been untouched since the dawn of time broke apart, reshaping itself into something unrecognizable. The universe screamed. In the depths of the temple, the prophecy was still changing, words carving themselves into the stone with violent, jagged strokes. The seer gasped as she read the final line, her voice breaking on the last syllable. "If he does not let her go... he will be unmade." Somewhere, in the heart of New Orleans, Klaus Mikaelson pulled away from Caroline Forbes, the ghost of that kiss still burning on his lips. He did not know what he had just done. But the universe did. And it was already beginning to take him back.

Have you ever heard the saying I love you so much it hurts? I always thought that it was just that, a saying, to emphasize how you feel for someone. It wasn't till I met the love of my life, Niklaus Mikaelson, that that so call saying slapped me right between the eyes. To feel that much passion towards a person not only results in happiness, it also brings pain. Extreme pain. The type of pain that cripples you and no matter how hard or far you run from it, it never leaves. But despite this, I stayed with him for the better part of 500 years. Because in my mind, the happy times outweighed all that torture. I could have everything I ever wanted. He, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, Finn, and I were a family. But over the years, my family's love for each other slowly soured and turned to hate, and suddenly the happy times weren't worth the agony. So I left, I ran, and I never stopped. But what will happen when I get thrown back into the Mikaelson world, trying to save Elena from Klaus's cruelty? Will love conquer all, or will I find comfort in the arms of another? Will we become a family like we once were, or has 500 years apart done its damage? Find out in Forever Family. Lily's breath hitched as she slammed her foot on the gas pedal. She couldn't afford to stop-she knew he wasn't far behind. He never was. Her trembling hands gripped the steering wheel tighter. The crowd she had just driven through blurred into a smear of faces, but one stood out. Klaus. His piercing eyes locked onto her car The look on his face was like a dagger to her chest-anger so potent it scorched her soul, hurt so raw it twisted her insides. She couldn't escape him. She had pissed off Klaus Mikaelson-her best friend. No, she corrected herself, former best friend. Now, he wanted her dead. Or worse. The thought made her stomach churn. She didn't fear death-no vampire truly did-but the prospect of Klaus's revenge, the torture he was infamous for... that terrified her. She had seen what he could do to his enemies, the cold efficiency with which he broke them, both body and spirit. The man she had once trusted above all others, the one person in the world who had made her feel truly safe, was now the source of her deepest fear. A painful ache bloomed in her chest as memories of him flooded her mind-the way he used to smile at her in his rare moments of peace, the way his presence had been a shield against every fear and doubt she'd ever had. Part of her wanted to surrender. She thought about it often during her five years on the run. Would it be easier to face him and accept whatever punishment he had planned? After all, hadn't she earned it? She longed for just one more moment in his arms, for him to hold her as he used to, to remind her that she was safe. It was a foolish wish. He would never forgive her. She doubted he was even capable of forgiveness, not with the weight of all his centuries of pain. She barely noticed the sign ahead until it loomed into view, its bold letters illuminated in the headlights. Mystic Falls. Would Klaus find her here? Of course, he would. He always did. And this time, she wouldn't run.

Vivienne Forbes has always been the rock for everyone around her. She has loved fiercely, to the point where the ones she cared for most have hurt her the most. She's longed for the love of a father-just a bit of validation, consideration, or even empathy. That's all she ever wanted. The love she feels for her family is unexplainable; she would kill for them, and be killed by them. But now, she doesn't let people in. If they don't know her, they can't hurt her. She's learned the hard way that the greatest betrayal often comes from those you love most-the ones you trust, the ones you let in. When he enters her life, it's going to be a sight to see. Niklaus Mikaelson is a man who takes what he wants. Vengeful, manipulative, and ruthless, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals and remove anyone who stands in his way. He has a reason for everything he does, and while it's driven by selfish motives, there's a fear behind it all. Klaus is also a skilled artist, often seen sketching in his spare time. Rather than showing love to those he cares about, he uses fear to ensure their loyalty. He believes no one will ever choose to stick by his side, so he forces them to stay. What the world calls evil, he sees as an appropriate response to a harsh and unfair world. Cruel, powerful, narcissistic, and manipulative-yes. But Klaus is also compassionate, lovable, and deeply emotional, even if he refuses to let anyone see that side of him. "Love is a vampire's greatest weakness. We do not feel, and we do not care." Will this saying change when their worlds collide? Will he push her away, or will she break down the walls he's built over thousands of years? Will she let him in? Will he be there for her when she rises? Is she his salvation or his demise? Neither of them knows yet, but one thing is certain: their souls are already intertwined. --- Join this ride, and I promise you'll love it. Let's dive in. Your writer
