Emma is just a small town girl just trying to make a living. She struggled through life but always landed on her feet and tries making the best of things. But then her whole world stopped and nothing would ever be the same.

When the world went to hell it didn't make much difference to y/n's life. She was alone before everything and she was alone now. When everything started she avoided people. It was easier on her own, or so she thought. In her eyes, people were no different than animals now and she wasn't going to risk getting killed just to have people by her side. She lived in Atlanta with her childhood friend, Glenn, and had never once left the city after she had moved there, apart from the occasional visit to see her Mother, whom was hospitalised in another state. However, the end of the world changed that, forcing her to leave the city and wander the highway. Permanently.
