Over a millennia ago, Lightning Cultivators ruled the skies and the earth. With a unique bloodline, a single clan pushed back the Demon Gods, causing them to retreat from the human realm. Peace and prosperity followed for humanity.

No one questioned why the lightning element was the weakest, it was accepted as fact for generations. No Lightning Cultivator was able to break past the Spiritual Stage, forever doomed to mediocrity.
The day before his eighth birthday, Calron loses his entire family, including his newborn sister. Filled with rage at the people responsible, he even directed his fury to the skies. A bolt of Azure Lightning shoots down in response.
