After his regeneration, the Doctor continues to travel with Amy, Rory, and River Song. He is able to put sad memories and past companions behind him, focusing on his adventures, present and future.
But when the Doctor tries to seal up the cracks in time and space, they pull him into a parallel universe and into his past. In a place he had vowed never to return to, he sees someone he never expected to see again and hears the most remarkable story from this familiar old friend.
Will her story provide closure for long, unanswered questions? Or will it only reopen old wounds?

She seems to know a lot about the doctor and his enemies, which is what worries the doctor and her companions. When Jack has to come to terms with the truth about the last years, especially about his new companion, the doctor also starts to have doubts about the real reason for their reunion. -Disclaimer- I apologize if there is a spelling mistake somewhere.
