Nina Thomas is plain, intelligent, and clumsy aspiring author from Ohio who moved to new york to get a book deal. After being declined from a publisher, she believes her life is at a standstill until she begins to fall for Jack Green, a tall, handsome bartender with a passion for reading and taking care of women.
