Wren Willow can't get over the events of the incident that left her in pieces. She doesn't know what to do to get over it and move on with her life. So when the Selection form shows up in the mail, she decides that maybe entering the selection is just what she needs.

When Wren ends up as one of the selected, she doesn't know how to feel. Her family is excited and happy for her, but she's numb to any of the emotion that she should feel.

As she stays in the castle, she slowly starts to find herself and her purpose for being here. She starts to realize that the incident is behind her. And who helps her realize all of this? It's none other than Prince Cameron.

Wren also starts to find herself falling for this dashing prince. Will they live happily ever after? Or will there be too many bumps and bruises for them to make it? Here's another question.

Does a happily ever after even exist for them to have?

THIS IS A FANFICTION. EVEN THOUGH THE CHARACTERS ARE MY OWN, THIS IS BASED OFF OF THE SELECTION SERIES BY KIERA CASS.

A broken prodigy. 17 year old Olive Bennett wishes for nothing more than to wash away the dark memories that haunt her day and night. Moving to Wilson Creek was supposed to do that. But nothing brings the dread back more than her crippled leg, and the horse she hides from herself and everyone else. Helping her father earn desperately needed money, Ollie picks up a job at the local stables, a pristine english riding centre home to stuck up girls and beautiful horses that have never been loved. And it's getting hard to ignore her feelings when Gus, an arrogant, annoying yet gorgeous stablehand is thrown into the mix, his one mission - to break down Ollie's walls. Then, without even realising it, Ollie soon finds herself teaching Wilson Creek Stables her ways of horsemanship - the western art of creating bonds and being kind. Can they help her heal with her own broken horse? 'This book is legendary! It's truly compelling and brought me back time and time again. The characters are so easy to fall head over heels with, and the storyline is a complete bomb. I would recommend this ripper of a book to anyone and it should really be published by now.' - @Ruby_Splash. Teaser: • "The sound of boots clunking on the wooden floor made everyone in the pub fall silent. The person took off their brimmed hat to let long dark hair fall down her back. People started whispering. She got to the counter and stood waiting, while the barman just gawped. "A beer, please," She said boldly. The barman nodded silently. An older balding man smoothly took up the space at her side, and in one quick movement slid his hand around her waist to grab her backside. The woman's face twisted in anger and perhaps a little terror at this violation, and she quickly slapped his hand away and pushed him backwards. Someone whistled loudly, but the woman ignored it. Her brown eyes stayed alert and open, her thin lips showing no expression. She looked like a teenager and probably was. She was wearing a beige shirt, the top two buttons undone, and her boots were chocolate brown with golden spurs, which complemented her dusty leather jodhpurs. The man from before had recovered and looked as if he was about to try his luck for a second time, but the woman muttered, "do you want children, sir?" and he quickly backed off. "Oooh, feisty," a man said, making people laugh. In the blink of an eye, a pistol was pointed in his direction..."
