Prudence is a seventeen-year old midwestern girl who is still grieving the death, in a car wreck, of her older-brother and best friend, Peter. She's lost, alone and on the edge. Her parents are arguing all the time and she's had enough.

Her solace is in the Church, and this is where the story really starts, with Prudence breaking into her local church late at night, because she needs to talk to God.

This sets off a set of events, in particular, a set of text messages from an unknown source. Not bad messages, ones that Prudence takes comfort in.  In time she realizes that they are text messages from God.All Rights Reserved
