Silence of the Lost
INTRO...
The words in my head gradually grew louder, blocking any sound from the outside world. I pressed my hands against my ears unsuccessfully muffling out those voices...
Those very voices that controls every second and detail of my life. Never letting up and giving me a chance to think straight and make my own choices.
Tears rolled down my cheeks as I screamed a silent scream in the silence of reality. The bland room that surrounds my empty soul that carries out into the darkness, no where to get back out in the light of day. No hope to spare me of this suffering.... This is my helpless life.
A 17 year old girl is remotely mute never has spoken a word besides the voices inside her head. But is this really where everything stops for her? What no one knows is that she... well you'll figure it out in the story. Happy reading!

I crawled and sunk impossibly deeper into the couch behind me, biting my nails to hold back the scream of horror aching to burst through my chords. The terrifying and spine shivering sight of flesh being ripped to pieces, agonising screams of terror and the horrendous sight of blood splattering on the living room window escalated my heart beats to rhythms I never thought possible. Suddenly all was quiet, silent and dark. The light from the moon that peeked through the window became non-existent. The screams of terror and horror disappeared and at the window I felt the presence of the monster who was doing this. It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family. Crystal Cane, 17 year old senior in high school has had to live 12 years of her life after the incident with a new family, new home, new school and fortunately new friends. Still a little timid as she lives her life she has to be ready to see what fate has in store for her. Or what it seems to have against her . She enters a new lifestyle filled with question and very un expected harm her way.
