A girl named Pearly King, daughter of Cody King, a business man dealing with hotels, and Lorraine King, Victoria Secrets top model, was unlike any other teenage girl. She has good parents who are filthy rich, a good friend named Toby, a brother as a musician, Christian King, and an ATTITUDE she cant control. Pearly is a 17 year old who attends Kapolei High in Hawaii as a junior and lives in Ewa beach. 

Pearly fell in love with a guy named Lucas Petrel, her freshman year. They dated for a month and he later on dumped her for another girl. Which was her enemy, Sarah Hanks. Pearly then dated another guy after 3 months, named Marcus Rodriguez, who did the same thing. Her last boyfriend was Daniel Vense. She thought he was different from the last two, and would never hurt her, but she was wrong once again. She vowed to herself to never love again because, she noticed how every guy she knows, are players. She also knew a few girls who got played. She believed that 'Love' is no more. Plus, she couldn't take another heartbreak, so it was better to not fall in love again.

Until one day, she meets Kyle Matson. Her 9th grade classmate that hardly anyone knew because he was a shy kid. He left Hawaii for 3 and a half years, and is back. He is known as the most popular, bad ass, and rich, bad boy in school, but also...a player. He fell in love with Pearly, and she fell in love with him too.
