"Can you just leave me alone, I'm trying to ignore you."

"Not until you have a conversation with me."

"Fine. Your ugly, you suck and you're as dumb as a sack of nails. Happy?"

"Very."

Mae Wright is known for having brains, being fluent in sarcasm... and for being the girl with the over protective brothers in her school. And with her small group of friends, she can seem quiet until you get to know her. But you never really will. She spends all her free time in the coffee shop on the corner of a book store.

Meet Hayden Brawn, the baddest boy in school, the boy who skips class with his friends, and the boy who has had millions of 'girl friends'. With his bad attitude and filthy good looks, Mae wants nothing to do with him. But, as the famous saying goes, you can't always get what you want.

When Hayden and his friends start going to the coffee shop on the corner, Mae becomes interested in their group, just like they become interested in her. Fun dates, skipping school and hiding a secret and new relationship from her parents is what made Mae's life so different.

Join them both on the journey which gave them a new joy in life.
