Castiel Novak is a 17 year old student at Lazarus High School in Lawrence Kansas. Throughout his time at school he has managed to remain alone and go unnoticed by his peers. That is, until he soon discovers he is very much different from the other students, not just because he is a loner but because of his newly discovered capabilities. His brother, Gabriel, convinces him to use these newfound abilities to both help and prank his peers.
Dean Winchester is also a 17 year old student at Lazarus High School. He has a close group of friends and prefers to avoid the spotlight at all costs. He observes other peers to the point he knows everyone and what they're up to, whether it's being a teachers pet or bullying others. One student he can't wrap his head around is Castiel Novak, who has changed so much in the last two weeks Dean can't help but investigate, leading him into an unexpected danger and a profound bond.
How far will Dean go to understand The High School Saviour? Will Castiel let Dean in, or push him away?

A college Destiel AU fic. Castiel Novak is 20 years old, and on the verge of a mental break down just about every damn day of his life. He went to college to live up to his mother's expectations, but he's starting to rethink whether or not he actually cares about that. Maybe it was the new found independence of living his own life? Or maybe it was the mysterious chat from a stranger that set him on the edge of rebellion. He only accepted the chat because he had no friends in the real world to begin with... maybe he could use on online friend. --------- Dean Winchester never knew how much he needed someone to care for. With his little brother Sammy away at a different college and living with his girlfriend, Dean was all alone, where he previously had never had a moment to himself. Dean started a chat with a stranger to find himself a new friend. He quickly realized how much he actually enjoyed the anonymous personality on the other side of the screen. And through his 22 years, he had never fallen for someone as much as he did the kid from the party. The Winter Storm (Destiel AU)
When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side. Every since he was little he wrote stories about monsters and demons and angels to escape from the beatings of his drunk father, John. After he lands a job at his little brother Sams high school, he meets the one and only Castiel Novak. He can't help but notice his magnificent ocean blue eyes, and the way he tilts his head when he's confused about something, or his raven black sex hair. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher. Castiel Novak is in his last year of high school in Lawrence, Kansas and he's a hopeless romantic who's determined to find the love of his life. Dean Winchester works at Singer Salvage Yard on the outskirts of Lawrence and he's got enough to deal with already without the extra stress of finding his soulmate. But Dean is sure his soulmate is a girl and when he meets the dark haired boy in a coffee shop, he refuses to believe he's the person he's destined to spend the rest of his life with. The Winter of 1959 is here, and Dean Winchester meets Castiel Novak at a party. When Dean finds out Castiel is gay, and quite literally has secrets up his sleeves, how will he react? For Dean knows he is most definitely straight... Right? ~~~~ I got this idea from a roleplay I was doing on Supernatural Amino. It's almost the same thing with some changes. We didn't intend for this to be a story so, yes, lots of Twist and Shout references in here. Don't hate me. I was Dean in the roleplay by the way. He loves his brother and his struggling with a crisis of identity when he meets his new tutor. Sam Winchester is Dean's younger brother and is in his first year at high school. For him it is a breeze and he is always the one who gets the praise. He gets tired of his brother's teasing but loves him anyway. He is struggling with the fact that his family may be falling apart.... His new found dreams start to trouble him and develop into bigger fears. Castiel Novak is a senior as well and doesn't get along very well with people. He tries to stay out of trouble but is a constant target for the football team. When he is assigned as a tutor he wants to become closer friends with his new pupil but doesn't know how. Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought. The one thing he didn't know was that Cas was gay. The other he didn't know was that Cas was completely and totally in love with him. Oblivious, Dean launches into a new relationship with a girl he meets at the mall one afternoon, and it tears Cas apart seeing Dean with her, especially when it looks like for the first time in his life, Dean is getting serious about a girl. Charlie, being the good friend she is throws a party and invites Cas. There's an interesting guy there that catches Cas' eye. Sweet fluff ensues, and it's soon after that Dean learns Cas' biggest secret. He is also faced with emotions he has never felt before, especially in regards to Cas. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels.
