|Book One of The Untouchable Trilogy|

He's old, and unwanted. Isaiah Song has outlived most of his species natural age. He can feel it though, deep in his bones that his time is running out. After everything he's been through, everything he's seen and done boils down to this.

Like a survivor he's not going to go down easy as a pack of relentless hunters track him down. As the end nears his life slowly plays before him as he remembered how it once was.

When he was young, he thought he had everything. Being able to help his family, protect his pack, even wiling to die for his people was at the root of his ambition. Nothing else mattered. Protect and serve are his main wants and desires.

Then it happened his life was changed. Everything he cherished most was gone. He lost his identity, his self. With nothing attached to him, he starts to runaway. Not from the past, but from the future that is ahead of him.

As he sees the end will Isaiah lay down with the old moon or rise once again with the young moon for a fresh start?

It has been many years since mankind has seen the horrors that was the Uprising: an unforeseen event which has caused mankind's demise, as the unknown virus spreads like a wildfire all throughout the globe while humanity turns on itself in order to survive, leaving those unlucky face-to-face with the virus to turn into ravenous, cannibalistic zombies. In the old ruins of North America, it has turned into a lawless land where the zombies prey on the weak with the thugs and criminals lurking around the corners to pick off what remains. However, through the hellfires of the apocalypse, a legend was born out from redemption, revenge and determination; a bounty hunter named Hunter Vick. Join him on his journey as he travels through the vast wastelands in order to stop a civil war between his two biggest clients, uncover the secrets of a hidden faction which threatens to destroy everything, and overcome a personal obstacle which has haunted him for years. With the weight of the world on his shoulders, Hunter is the lone ranger, the only one that could possibly save everyone from their eventual demise if nothing changes. He will have to overcome some of the greatest obstacles in his life from mutations to Hunter killers to morale questionings. Can Hunter muster the strength required to save everyone, or will he fall like the billions of other survivors before him? He doesn't have much time, his sanity is running out, and his will to live will be put to the ultimate test in what it truly means to live up to your fate and destiny. But it doesn't really matter now, because in this cruel, twisted world, there are two types of people: the ones who are lost, and the ones who are dead.

"THE AFTERLIFE CAN BE A REAL BITCH, RIGHT?" "Henri-" I began, but Henri's hand snatched up mine and squeezed tightly enough to break bones. I bit my tongue to hold back a cry. It was a warning. "Maria didn't say anything about a couple of vampires wanting to meet with her," the green-haired warlock spoke after the area had stilled with electrified silence. I looked Henri's way, and that's really when our situation caught up with me. Wait... "Maria..." I murmured in remembrance, then sent Henri a glare. "Why are we here to see Maria Day? If you don't remember, let me remind you that I killed her friend. Hell, her master. She'll kill me when she sees me." Henri had the nerve to laugh softly. "You're already dead, Antoinette." "Thanks to you. There are other ways witches can hurt vampires, aren't there?" My eyes traveled shortly to the warlocks, Daniel and Zachary, and I shook my head. "She'll burn me alive! I'm not going in there." "You're overacting," Henri said with a dramatic eye roll with a worth of a slap across his face. Lucky for him, I kept my hands at my sides. This night was about to get dangerous... This is Book 3 of The Hunters Saga! 1st draft, so there WILL be mistakes! "The only way out is through." ***Warning: Is very triggering. Lots of detailed descriptions of abuse*** When your life turns into a nightmare and something really horrible happens to you, you believe while it's happening someone is going to burst in any minute and save you, you picture a loved one or even a heroic stranger; anyone to help you. Just like in every movie, book or tv show. Any minute now they would come... Unfortunately, in real life, that just doesn't happen. No one bursts in to save you. No one speaks up to stop the horror happening to you. The nightmare continues on uninterrupted and you're forced to live through it, every second, until it's done. And still no one bares witness. Only you, and the one hurting you. " NOTE: this is for anyone who has been through trauma and felt trapped, almost enslaved to your abuser....knowing help would not come. And saving yourself was the only option. Hayley is half wolf- half human. Hunter is an alpha. Which means when Hayley tries to break up with him he uses his superior status to keep her in spot, abusing her as he sees fit. Cayden is a new student, and a lone wolf and even as he falls for Hayley, he knows he can't save her from the schools rich brat but that he can train her to save herself.
